Brake Problems You Should Have Inspected Quickly

Your braking system can develop wear gradually, but the consequences of ignoring it can be serious. Grinding, pulling, pressure loss, or longer stopping distance may indicate worn or damaged brake components. Early repair can help prevent additional wear and restore consistent stopping performance.

  • Grinding Brakes: We replace worn friction components and inspect rotors or drums
  • Longer Stops: We inspect and repair components reducing braking force
  • Brake Pulling: We correct uneven brake application or worn components
  • Soft Pedal: We diagnose pressure loss and repair the affected system
  • Air Loss: We repair leaking air lines, valves, chambers, or fittings
  • Brake Warning: We diagnose the fault and repair the affected component

Regular Maintenance: A Preventative Measure

Regular brake maintenance helps in the early detection of potential issues, saving costs in the long run. It's not just about repair but also about prevention. By adhering to a routine maintenance schedule, fleet managers can ensure the longevity of the braking system and, by extension, the diesel truck itself. Furthermore, consistent brake performance ensures safety on the road, reducing the risks of accidents due to brake failures.

  • Brake System Adjustments: Over time, the brake system might require adjustments to deliver optimal performance. Our technicians are skilled in making these adjustments, ensuring the brakes respond promptly when applied.
  • Lubrication Services: Appropriate lubrication is crucial for the smooth functioning of various brake components. Our service includes lubricating essential parts to prevent any unnecessary friction or wear.

From a very early morning phone call to providing a solution to our tire problem and having us back on the road within 4 1/2hrs was amazing. Our tire was for a motorhome that is not easy to find. After spending a sleepless night calling AAA and other mobile repair teams who could not or would not help us, Chris pulled through. All superheroes don’t wear capes. These guys are life savers. I had problems with the tandems on a trailer and could not resolve the issue after trying for nearly two hours. Luckily, Chris drove by. I assumed the day was a waste but the positive attitude from Chris immediately left me with no worries. In little to no time the tandems began sliding and the truck was on the road again. I want to just say thank you Chris and Fleet Care Servics out of South Carolina for the assist. First call I am making when there is an issue.
